After a rather tough play, Mamutes EC's Natã Sanches got a free kick in the 15th minute. Fred Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fred Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th match minute, Mestre GG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Soares to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquinho Sergipano in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Albuquerque in the 20th minute of play forced Mestre GG's goalkeeper Raúl de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chiquinho Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerson Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Godoi having to interfere. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dé Lira in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raúl de Amaral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Júlio Albuquerque in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raúl de Amaral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the match, Mamutes EC's goalkeeper Rafael Godoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dé Paiva. Romário Secos short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Rafael Godoi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dé Lira made a kick off. When Chiquinho Sergipano came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Mestre GG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chiquinho Sergipano couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Mamutes EC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Natã Sanches hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Mamutes EC defense, Chiquinho Sergipano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Godoi. The Mamutes EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Godoi should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd minute Júlio Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raúl de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fred Soares was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes had been played. A collision led to Mestre GG getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Fred Soares hit a great ball. In the 67th match minute, Mestre GG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Soares to maneuver through the defense. Raúl de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Albuquerque in the 68th minute of the match. With a little luck, Mestre GG's Raúl de Amaral got control of the ball when Dé Lira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th minute, Robinho Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
