Jimeno Gumaro started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Los Golosos booed when Los Espinillos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Quilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Benito Rafe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Espinillos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Golosos the free kick. In the 10th minute, Claudio Barrionuevo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osvaldo Ubarna took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcus Silva. Los Espinillos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Los Espinillos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Montrell to maneuver through the defense. Los Golosos's Osvaldo Ubarna shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 16th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marcus Silva but with some difficulty. Marcus Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Estevez in the 17th minute of the match. Los Espinillos FC's Jimeno Gumaro got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Intxixu got free with Marcus Silva in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Estevez in the 27th minute of play forced Los Espinillos FC's goalkeeper Marcus Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zula Munko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Estavan having to make a save. Los Golosos's Julio Estavan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Gumaro in the 32nd minute of play. Marcus Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Estevez in the 33rd minute of play. Marcus Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Arnau, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Marcus Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximo Orain's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Marcus Silva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leendert Looze in the 41st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Marcus Silva successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicolas Estevez made a kick off. Marcus Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Estevez, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Golosos's goalkeeper Julio Estavan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcus Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Orain in the 55th minute of the match. Marcus Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Orain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquilino Arnau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute Nicolas Estevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Estevez in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal.
