Fryderyk Witwickis short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Julio Estavan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 5 minutes into the match, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Estevez came free, but Rosendo Seguinus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute ASF BAIA MARE -MM- were awarded a corner. Remus Cazan went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 16th minute, Maximo Orain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Los Golosos's Aquilino Arnau got a free kick in the 17th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Bogdan Udrişte slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Estavan. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. After 20 played minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Stejaru. If Leendert Looze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Bogdan Udrişte got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rosendo Seguinus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Orain in the 31st minute of the match. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Rosendo Seguinus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Orain in the 38th minute of play. Fryderyk Witwicki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Julio Estavan made a huge save. The supporters of Los Golosos booed when ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir Stejaru didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bogdan Udrişte made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aron Zgrăbunţa during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aron Zgrăbunţa hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Julio Estavan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bogdan Udrişte's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 63rd minute Aron Zgrăbunţa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Estavan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Estavan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Udrişte, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 69 minutes in the game, Bogdan Udrişte dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After 70 played minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Dragoş Cazacu. After 72nd play minutes Nicolas Estevez shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Rosendo Seguinus and just under the crossbar into goal. Aquilino Arnau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Seguinus having to interfere. Julio Estavan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Udrişte in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute Fryderyk Witwicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Estavan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Leendert Looze got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fryderyk Witwicki in the 88th minute of play forced Los Golosos's goalkeeper Julio Estavan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 played minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Aron Zgrăbunţa. 94 minutes into the match, Los Golosos's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Udrişte came free, but Julio Estavan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ASF BAIA MARE -MM- fans cheered their team off the field, for while Los Golosos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
