With a little luck, PLUMIN's Rodrigo Massó got control of the ball when Emiliano Velasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolo Basualdo in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Selatse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michael Corleone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Massó made a huge save. Rodrigo Massó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Czeslaw Kopacz in the 23rd minute of play. Emiliano Velasco kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot PLUMIN's keeper Rodrigo Massó was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Despidida AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonas Orlondon was slow to take the kick. During this time PLUMIN's players had a chance to rest. Emiliano Velasco was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 30th minute Emiliano Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Massó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Massó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Czeslaw Kopacz in the 31st minute of the match. Fernando Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Bürger, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Velasco couldn't finish the play. Toro Martínez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Massó having to interfere. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Despidida AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while PLUMIN had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
