Agus Peto made in the 23rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Felipe Berdoi immediately put the ball in play. 25 minutes into the match, El Renacer del Quijano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Suarez came free, but Paulo Francho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Francho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hans Otterlei might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Francho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hans Otterlei ran back to his position shaking his head. Paulo Francho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Otterlei in the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, El Renacer del Quijano FC's Nicasio Raymond got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Paulo Francho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hans Otterlei went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score.

Donato Lobo hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hans Otterlei got free with Paulo Francho in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute Hans Otterlei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Francho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Cosa Nostra's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arnaldo Perpinya in the 59th minute. Paulo Francho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Otterlei, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Renacer del Quijano FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched La Cosa Nostra eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
