In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Encarale a la gordita. Vadym Putinčanin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joel Delfino. 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 武光星 made a kick off. Hans Otterlei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Shao Shu Lang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Encarale a la gordita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Cosa Nostra the free kick. La Cosa Nostra's Abelardo Alvarez was substituted for Arnaldo Perpinya. Pedrinho Falconetti hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Joel Delfino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedrinho Falconetti in the 64th minute.
