El Renacer del Quijano FC's Andres Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceyhan Celvet in the 13th minute of play. Ceyhan Celvet took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andres Lastur. Andres Lastur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Teobaldo Ubarna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hilario Pesquera having to make a save. Hilario Pesquera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Ubarna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ceyhan Celvet might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andres Lastur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ceyhan Celvet ran back to his position shaking his head. Andres Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceyhan Celvet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Golden Dragón F.C were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after El Renacer del Quijano FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alan Petersen took the corner. After taking down the ball on Golden Dragón F.C's corner Fernandez Vizcarreto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Andres Lastur quite easily take care of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Golden Dragón F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Ubarna came free, but Hilario Pesquera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gasteiz Durazno hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Golden Dragón F.C's goalkeeper Hilario Pesquera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Alan Petersen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ceyhan Celvet to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Golden Dragón F.C got a corner. El Renacer del Quijano FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alan Petersen ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceyhan Celvet in the 55th minute of play forced El Renacer del Quijano FC's goalkeeper Andres Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Golden Dragón F.C's attentive Aureliusz Vaabengaard managed to snatch the ball when Lucas Cresconio made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. The supporters of El Renacer del Quijano FC booed when Golden Dragón F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceyhan Celvet didn't get a good kick on the ball. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Tião Penha was substituted for Leandro Laurentzi. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Arnoldo Montrell was substituted for Nunez Maurin. El Renacer del Quijano FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dario Betzanos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Hilario Pesquera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
