Ivan Menendo hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Ciro Nerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Demesio in the 9th minute of play. Miguel Ángel Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Turgay Hafi, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Venceslas in the 16th minute of play forced Bancruz F.C's goalkeeper Ciro Nerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Nerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Demesio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Ángel Torres came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Bancruz F.C's Turgay Hafi. But to his dismay, Turgay Hafi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in LA LUZ F.C.'s zone, Turgay Hafi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Ángel Torres came out of the goal and Turgay Hafi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Arixo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Ciro Nerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Demesio in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bancruz F.C's Mauricio Joseph got a free kick in the 44th minute. Bancruz F.C's Ciro Nerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Demesio in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

LA LUZ F.C. made a substitution. Jailson Britto replaced Sebastian Demesio. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Turgay Hafi was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Turgay Hafi in the 55th minute of play forced LA LUZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Bancruz F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Dieguito Maradona came free, but Ciro Nerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
