The referee ignored SAN LORENZO FC's protests and gave Lv Tian Yuan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SAN LORENZO FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Lv Tian Yuan hit a great ball. Dario Astigar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laércio Monteiro in the 21st minute of play. Ye Yan Yu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Tiniebra in the 22nd minute of play. SAN LORENZO FC's Dario Astigar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Casanova in the 25th minute of play. Ye Yan Yu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lisandro Nuñez in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper Dario Astigar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Nuñez got free with Ye Yan Yu in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Benicio Eutropio in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SAN LORENZO FC's Artur Quintas. Dario Astigar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Casanova, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When Liu Gang Jian, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 40 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Dario Astigar was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laércio Monteiro made a kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Cadáveres Voladores's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Nuñez came free, but Ye Yan Yu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Lisandro Nuñez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ye Yan Yu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Dario Astigar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Casanova, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lisandro Nuñez might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ye Yan Yu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lisandro Nuñez ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cadáveres Voladores's goalkeeper Ye Yan Yu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 75 minutes, Gilbert Amsler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cadáveres Voladores and the SAN LORENZO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gilbert Amsler kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Gilbert Amsler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sebastian Iliana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 minutes, Abelardo Horado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cadáveres Voladores and the SAN LORENZO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Julien Corbeau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julien Corbeau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ye Yan Yu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
