An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Nofre in the 46th minute of play forced Cascadia United's goalkeeper Leonel Rocco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Cascadia United's Constantino Neto was substituted for Abel Neron. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uriel Cordearo was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Tello AFC's Pastor Nofre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonel Rocco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Leonel Rocco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Nofre, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 67th minute Faustino Unax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Rocco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Markus Smart during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Agustin Bittor struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Dalmacio Pello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cascadia United. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Agustin Bittor took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Dalmacio Pello to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the Cascadia United defense, Virgilio Van Dijck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonel Rocco. The Cascadia United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonel Rocco should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cascadia United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tello AFC.
