In the 3rd minute Valentin Voicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Colon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Voicu spun around in front of the goal 3 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Juniors FC's goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicanor Porfirio during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Juniors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Porfirio to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Voicu came free, but Lázaro Colon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 minutes of play, Juniors FC's Uriel Isias made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baraxil Sarrate was left in no man's land by his defense there! Baraxil Sarrate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Porfirio in the 17th minute of play. If Ezequiel Barco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juniors FC's Lázaro Colon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Juniors FC from getting a goal against them. Baraxil Sarrate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Lepper in the 25th minute of play. Baraxil Sarrate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Porfirio in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nofre Madariaga in the 32nd minute of play forced Juniors FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Colon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lázaro Colon came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by VILLARREAL UNITED's Nofre Madariaga. But to his dismay, Nofre Madariaga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Baraxil Sarrate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Isias, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

VILLARREAL UNITED's Johan Öman quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eduardo Gervaso, made in the 55th minute of the game. 56 minutes into the game, VILLARREAL UNITED's Valentin Voicu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lázaro Colon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. When Daniel Loi fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juniors FC's protests and gave Daniel Loi a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Loi kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Lázaro Colon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Voicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Eduardo Gervaso made in the 67th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Daniel Loi. Juniors FC's Enrique Frasco was substituted for Uriel Isias. A sloppy throw-in by Johan Öman in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Juniors FC's Ezequiel Barco. Valentin Voicu might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lázaro Colon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentin Voicu ran back to his position shaking his head. Lázaro Colon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Voicu in the 79th minute of play. Kami Glik hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Delmar Campello struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Lázaro Colon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VILLARREAL UNITED. Baraxil Sarrate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Garikoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of VILLARREAL UNITED booed when Juniors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Garikoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Juniors FC's Wlodzimierz Lepper got a free kick in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Voicu came free, but Lázaro Colon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baraxil Sarrate made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Enrique Frasco sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Juniors FC booed when VILLARREAL UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gert Vesterberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Juniors FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for VILLARREAL UNITED.
