When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Benny Niva took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Luis Täger to make any attempt to save it. Benny Niva came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luis Täger could save by the left post. If Froilan Reyes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Celta de Virgos's Zacarias Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Reyes in the 17th minute of play. Zacarias Ascencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Mendiola in the 25th minute of the match. After 25 minutes of play, Parque Europa FC's Rogelio Mendiola made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zacarias Ascencio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luis Täger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benny Niva in the 33rd minute. Parque Europa FC's Emanuel Löfkvist managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sergio Sayvion in the 35 minute of the game. In the 37th minute Froilan Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Sayvion made in the 42nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Biagio Pavlu immediately put the ball in play. Luis Täger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dündar Aynacıoğlu went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Froilan Reyes to strike the kick off in the second half. Zacarias Ascencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Coronel Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Parque Europa FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Parque Europa FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
