In the 3rd minute, Fidel Frederik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4 minutes into the match, Joel Enekoitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of René Stam. Las Palmas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Enekoitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Peter Blomkvist took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised René Stam. René Stam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 12th minute, Peter Blomkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Enekoitz in the 17th minute. The corner led to Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Ahmet Demircioğlu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 19th minute Peker Kazak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 秦西星 came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nicasio Abad could save by the left post. In the 25th minute Peter Blomkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but René Stam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Blomkvist took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised René Stam. René Stam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 32 minutes into the match, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goal looked a bit too open when Peker Kazak came free, but Nicasio Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Blomkvist in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg René Stam saved Las Palmas from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Alonzo Gomesano got a free kick in the 35th minute. René Stam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Blomkvist in the 37th minute of the match. Silverio Quintun made in the 39th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by 秦西星. Joel Enekoitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over René Stam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Enekoitz ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 秦西星 was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peker Kazak in the 53rd minute of play forced Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Nicasio Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Blomkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Peter Blomkvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of René Stam. Peter Blomkvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. A sloppy throw-in by Fidel Frederik in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Ahmet Demircioğlu. In the 69th minute, Pietro Salles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. René Stam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pietro Salles in the 75th minute of play. After some careless play in the Las Palmas defense, Pietro Salles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of René Stam. The Las Palmas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that René Stam should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the game, Peker Kazak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Nicasio Abad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Ahmet Demircioğlu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dawid Cholewa, made in the 88th minute of the game. In the 92nd minute, Pietro Salles made a precise shot to the right of René Stam. Las Palmas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-8. Pietro Salles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without René Stam having to make a save. René Stam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pietro Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peker Kazak in the 97th minute of play forced Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Nicasio Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Las Palmas throughout the match.
