When David Moya fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Pfullendorf's protests and gave David Moya a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SC Pfullendorf's David Moya got a free kick in the 23rd minute. ZHEJIANG FC's 董夕骏 got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Gudesteo Erosa threw the ball into play from the sideline. SC Pfullendorf's David Moya quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 45 played minutes SC Pfullendorf got a freekick which was hit by David Moya. After the first half ZHEJIANG FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in SC Pfullendorf's zone, Damien Bakker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kıvanç Yücesan came out of the goal and Damien Bakker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When 董夕骏 came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the ZHEJIANG FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 董夕骏 couldn't finish the play. ZHEJIANG FC made a substitution. Ricki Dresager replaced 董夕骏. SC Pfullendorf's Czeslaw Wallach was substituted for Adrian Ibar. If Silvinho Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silas Vale's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kıvanç Yücesan firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 85 minutes, Ricki Dresager managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZHEJIANG FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricki Dresager was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 彭森银 was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 87 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricki Dresager in the 93rd minute of play forced SC Pfullendorf's goalkeeper Kıvanç Yücesan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
