After taking down the ball on Deportivo ScrugenFC's corner Fortun Bobes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wawrzyniec Charamut quite easily take care of the ball. Norbert Chwalkiewicz came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jose Boldu could save by the left post. Jose Boldu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paul Gheară showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 22 minute of play. Jose Boldu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Jenaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Kieth Hustinx was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 28 minutes into the match. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoil Pequeño in the 34th minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Charamut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
