In the 8thth minute of the game Andrzej Zapolski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Defensores del Ángel Gris's Nicolás DAndrea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Andrzej Zapolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andrzej Zapolski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicolás DAndrea having to make a save. Nicolás DAndrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrzej Zapolski in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes in the game Ingmar Hellkvist did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Serafim Catranides. Nicolás DAndrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrzej Zapolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, Andrzej Zapolski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Nicolás DAndrea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 23 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's goal looked a bit too open when Andrzej Zapolski came free, but Nicolás DAndrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DREAM TEAM WORLD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maximiliano Vime in the 24th minute. The corner led DREAM TEAM WORLD's Maximiliano Vime to fire away a dangerous shot which Nicolás DAndrea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Elpidio Curcio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nicolás DAndrea firmly grabbed it by the left post. Andrzej Zapolski might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolás DAndrea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrzej Zapolski ran back to his position shaking his head. Andrzej Zapolski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 36 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalkeeper Nicolás DAndrea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrzej Zapolski. After 40 minutes Defensores del Ángel Gris's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maximiliano Vime who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Osvaldo Koldo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrzej Zapolski to make the kick off. Ingmar Hellkvist got a throw-in 52 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Serafim Catranides. Nicolás DAndrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrzej Zapolski, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonzalo Jerico got free with Lu Zhen Sheng in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gonzalo Jerico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Lu Zhen Sheng made a huge save. 63 minutes into the match, Andrzej Zapolski notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Defensores del Ángel Gris's Nicolás DAndrea. Nicolás DAndrea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 66th minute, Andrzej Zapolski made a precise shot to the right of Nicolás DAndrea. Defensores del Ángel Gris's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Mendez Urquizu was substituted for Elpidio Curcio. DREAM TEAM WORLD made a substitution. Paulo Jon replaced Héctor Adomaitis. DREAM TEAM WORLD made a substitution. Wilfredo Cutberto replaced Andrzej Zapolski. If Wilfredo Cutberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores del Ángel Gris's zone, Mendez Urquizu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolás DAndrea came out of the goal and Mendez Urquizu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Cutberto in the 78th minute of play forced Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalkeeper Nicolás DAndrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Marco Gabon fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Defensores del Ángel Gris's protests and gave Marco Gabon a yellow card for diving instead. 85 minutes into the match, DREAM TEAM WORLD's goalkeeper Lu Zhen Sheng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eleuterio Chabier. Mendez Urquizu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Nicolás DAndrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafim Catranides's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lu Zhen Sheng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the match DREAM TEAM WORLD got a corner. Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maximiliano Vime ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Miguel Furtado managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Defensores del Ángel Gris's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
