Abelardo Berenguer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Cabezon in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético y Tiro Rqta's goalkeeper Abelardo Berenguer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Cabezon in the 6th minute of play forced Atlético y Tiro Rqta's goalkeeper Abelardo Berenguer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciriaco Urdaspal hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Federico Kalinowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxi Rodríguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Abelardo Berenguer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximino Cabezon's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. ACF Fiorentina were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Atlético y Tiro Rqta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ciriaco Urdaspal took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Saturnino Michael managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético y Tiro Rqta's goalkeeper Abelardo Berenguer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ACF Fiorentina's Federico Kalinowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxi Rodríguez in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Maximino Cabezon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Abelardo Berenguer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 26 minutes ACF Fiorentina's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Damian Sylvester who took care of the corner kick. Abelardo Berenguer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Cabezon in the 30th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Maximino Cabezon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abelardo Berenguer. Atlético y Tiro Rqta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximino Cabezon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Abelardo Berenguer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximino Cabezon's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Cabezon in the 46th minute of play forced Atlético y Tiro Rqta's goalkeeper Abelardo Berenguer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Atlético y Tiro Rqta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ACF Fiorentina were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Severino Benino made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute of the match ACF Fiorentina got a corner. Atlético y Tiro Rqta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ciriaco Urdaspal ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético y Tiro Rqta's zone, Maximino Cabezon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Berenguer came out of the goal and Maximino Cabezon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ACF Fiorentina's Dario Mirande was substituted for Aquiles Olentzaro. ACF Fiorentina made a substitution. Hernán Leandro replaced Maximino Cabezon. ACF Fiorentina made a substitution. Anselmo Luar replaced Saturnino Michael. The supporters of ACF Fiorentina booed when Atlético y Tiro Rqta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Perrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Atlético y Tiro Rqta defense, Hernán Leandro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abelardo Berenguer. The Atlético y Tiro Rqta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abelardo Berenguer should have stopped the shot. Abelardo Berenguer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hernán Leandro went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The Atlético y Tiro Rqta supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ACF Fiorentina's performance. The match ended with a win for ACF Fiorentina.
