The referee ignored Formentera's protests and gave Fausto Cresencio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Formentera's Fausto Cresencio got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Astor Aragones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Meder Muños, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Intimos de Reynoso's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Honesto Valensuela in the 11th minute. A nice corner shot did that Honesto Valensuela got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Astor Aragones quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Amador Modestio's late challenge caught a Intimos de Reynoso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amador Modestio helped the player get up and apologised. Amador Modestio kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Meder Muños in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Astor Aragones saved Formentera from getting behind. Ovidio Roland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Enmanuel in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes in the game Amador Modestio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Paulo Enmanuel. Astor Aragones made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Meder Muños made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Carlos Fernández hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Intimos de Reynoso's Steve Steven was substituted for Meder Muños. In the 57th match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Fernández to maneuver through the defense. Astor Aragones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Steven in the 58th minute of play. The Intimos de Reynoso fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Intimos de Reynoso's Steve Steven looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Astor Aragones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Steven in the 65th minute of play. Intimos de Reynoso's Diego Armando Faso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Astor Aragones in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 72 minutes, Hermengildo Jorrin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Formentera and the Intimos de Reynoso players grew even worse after the yellow card. Astor Aragones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Steven in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute of the match, Steve Steven tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Astor Aragones saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lope Quijana came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Astor Aragones could save by the left post. Intimos de Reynoso were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Formentera's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Diego Armando Faso took the corner. Intimos de Reynoso's Diego Armando Faso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Astor Aragones in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Carlos Fernández received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ovidio Roland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Janpier Alvisto came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Intimos de Reynoso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Janpier Alvisto couldn't finish the play. Intimos de Reynoso played a much better game than Formentera and deserved their victory. The Formentera players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
