Feliciano Bastian made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by DREAM TEAM WORLD's Miguel Furtado. In the 37th match minute, DREAM TEAM WORLD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Furtado to maneuver through the defense. Error 404's Jaime Manny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luís Lessard in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Error 404's Pablo Escobar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lu Zhen Sheng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pablo Escobar to make the kick off. If Héctor Adomaitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Andrzej Zapolski was substituted for André Luís Lessard. 60 minutes in the game, Andrzej Zapolski dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radomil Barciniak got free with Lu Zhen Sheng in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Error 404 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
