The supporters of Velez Sarsfield booed when MOEBIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 10th minute Federico Girotti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Huygens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Fleszar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Montrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Marcos Pacifico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute of the match Federico Girotti sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erwin Huygens skillfully saved the ball. Jan Fleszar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Cordario, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Federico Girotti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erwin Huygens was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Erwin Huygens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Girotti in the 25th minute of play. Jacinto Tirso made in the 31st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Hao Fan Chuan. 34 minutes into the game, Ignacio Berenguer threw the ball into play from the sideline. MOEBIO's Aitor Tuga quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hao Fan Chuan got free with Erwin Huygens in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hao Fan Chuan in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Erwin Huygens, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Augusto Cordario managed to get in a good position for a shot.
