Zacarias Valery could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Cyprian Tipinski made a huge save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jiang Yuan to make the kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cuervos AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Darnell Joyce was slow to take the kick. During this time Inmortales FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Jiang Yuan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cuervos AFC's Evaristo Roldan did a great save. Inmortales FC's Jiang Yuan got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jiang Yuan might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evaristo Roldan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jiang Yuan ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiang Yuan in the 58th minute of play forced Cuervos AFC's goalkeeper Evaristo Roldan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darnell Joyce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Roldan having to interfere. Cuervos AFC's Abelardo Louis was substituted for Ismael Martxel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Valery in the 87th minute of play forced Inmortales FC's goalkeeper Cyprian Tipinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Caracciolo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match.
