In the 13th minute, Augusto Cordario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Velez Sarsfield fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Velez Sarsfield's Marcos Pacifico quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Osvaldo Berger, made in the 16th minute of the game. Fabrício Dionísio had several of the Velez Sarsfield's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Erwin Huygens as he didn't even see the shot coming. João Pedro das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Cordario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Augusto Cordario notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's João Pedro das Neves. João Pedro das Neves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Velez Sarsfield getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Marcos Pacifico hit a great ball. Gaston Ávila hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Fabrício Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erwin Huygens having to interfere. Velez Sarsfield's Marcos Pacifico managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Osvaldo Berger in the 40 minute of the game. João Pedro das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Cordario, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The audience was convinced that Augusto Cordario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Pedro das Neves was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Augusto Cordario put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of João Pedro das Neves.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augusto Cordario to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute Dorival Alvarenga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Huygens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Pacifico kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Augusto Cordario scored 1-6 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Pedro das Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th minute of the game Osvaldo Berger made a throw-in which Fabrício Dionísio played forward. In the 70th minute, Filomeno Montrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filomeno Montrell kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Augusto Cordario struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. João Pedro das Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Velez Sarsfield. Osvaldo Berger made in the 76th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fabrício Dionísio immediately put the ball in play. Filomeno Montrell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but João Pedro das Neves made a huge save. João Pedro das Neves made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Augusto Cordario sent off a good shot on target. Filomeno Montrell struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. João Pedro das Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Velez Sarsfield. Velez Sarsfield made a substitution. Ago Tramp replaced Filomeno Montrell. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Augusto Cordario scored to the left of an out of position João Pedro das Neves, making the score, 1-7. After 91 minutes of play, Velez Sarsfield's Ronan Mistral made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Pedro das Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute, Augusto Cordario fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Velez Sarsfield's Augusto Cordario slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of João Pedro das Neves. That made the score 1-9 after 96 minutes of play. Velez Sarsfield played a much better game than Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF and deserved their victory. The Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
