A sloppy throw-in by Fidel Refugio in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Velez Sarsfield's Yiyo Bernal. 94 minutes into the match, Dromes FC's goalkeeper Atilano Benat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Cordario. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Velez Sarsfield walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
