Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godfredo Erruki to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aggelos Lazopoulos got free with Benedicto Astigar in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Benedicto Astigar threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aggelos Lazopoulos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC played a much better game than CADU de Zarate and deserved their victory. The CADU de Zarate players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
