Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jörn Svartengren kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the match, Jörn Svartengren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alfredo Joey, 1-0. After some careless play in the Palermo defense, Jörn Svartengren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredo Joey. The Palermo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredo Joey should have stopped the shot. In the 26thth minute of the game Marcelino Chaime who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter de Guayaquil FC's Sebastian Hellkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pompiliu Cristian hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Alfredo Joey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jörn Svartengren's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute Santiago Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Hellkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Jörn Svartengren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfredo Joey. Jörn Svartengren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Isaias Grove hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Jörn Svartengren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Alfredo Joey made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jörn Svartengren in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Joey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Xzavier Palomarez kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. William Bengtsson, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sebastian Hellkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Mino in the 63rd minute. Santiago Mino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inter de Guayaquil FC made a substitution. Jakub Ziombkowski replaced Mateusz Giertych. Alfredo Joey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Barragan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inter de Guayaquil FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Celso Inguma in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Éric Cantona in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Joey saved Palermo from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Éric Cantona came free, but Alfredo Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd match minute, Inter de Guayaquil FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakub Ziombkowski to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Éric Cantona in the 75th minute of play. Sebastian Hellkvist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arnoldo Medina showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 78 minute of play. Alfredo Joey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakub Ziombkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Sebastian Hellkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Medina in the 82nd minute of play. Sebastian Hellkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Medina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo Joey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Éric Cantona, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The Inter de Guayaquil FC fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Inter de Guayaquil FC's Jakub Ziombkowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alfredo Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakub Ziombkowski in the 91st minute of play. In the 91st minute, Jakub Ziombkowski made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Joey. Palermo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Palermo's Alfredo Joey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Barragan in the 95th minute of play. With a little luck, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Sebastian Hellkvist got control of the ball when Santiago Mino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Inter de Guayaquil FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Palermo for a fine match.
