Walmir Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Roldanillo in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Agustin Silvino notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Loco De Remate's Walmir Catarinense. Walmir Catarinense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 7th minute Agustin Silvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 minutes Loco De Remate's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sergio Macerio who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Pincha FC's Sergio Macerio to fire away a dangerous shot which Walmir Catarinense despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcial Roldanillo in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walmir Catarinense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th match minute, Pincha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Mendebal to maneuver through the defense. Pincha FC's Carlos Quentin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Pincha FC from getting a goal against them. Walmir Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Silvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Walmir Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcial Roldanillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Walmir Catarinense made a huge save. The Pincha FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pincha FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
