Santiago Mino started the match with the kick off. Fulgencio Eyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Boni hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Arkadiusz Glowacki hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Joey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. AC LeX Luthor were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Palermo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mario Yepes took the corner. Romeo Sanduru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Joey having to interfere. Peep Pronk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alfredo Joey came out and tried to block the shot, but Peep Pronk slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. Marcelino Chaime kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Joey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Palermo's Alfredo Joey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Palermo from getting a goal against them. Fulgencio Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Medina in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alfredo Joey. Alfredo Joey yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 42nd minute Peep Pronk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peep Pronk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Joey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peep Pronk made a kick off. If Karl-Axel Kielstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, AC LeX Luthor's Mario Yepes got a free kick in the 56th minute. Palermo's Saul Felo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for AC LeX Luthor. AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save AC LeX Luthor from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute, Karl-Axel Kielstedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zeledon Savion took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Joey. Alfredo Joey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Marcelino Chaime hit a great ball. Alfredo Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Savion in the 78th minute of the match. Alfredo Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Savion in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute Alvaro Errando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Santiago Mino got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Alfredo Joey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Savion, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute.
