The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edwin van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Lawrence in the 9th minute of play. Edwin van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 12th match minute, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iliana Seseña to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Ramos hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. A collision led to KяαdivÄch3 FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Edelmiro Dimo hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, KяαdivÄch3 FC's goalkeeper Genaro Asur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hori Guillemez. Pacorro Aguilar struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Genaro Asur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦. In the 24th minute, Ruperto Edorta made a precise shot to the right of Edwin van der Sar. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 27 minutes, Noel Guerrero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ and the KяαdivÄch3 FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ got a freekick which was hit by Noel Guerrero. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pacorro Aguilar in the 30th minute of play forced KяαdivÄch3 FC's goalkeeper Genaro Asur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Hori Guillemez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Genaro Asur. KяαdivÄch3 FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hori Guillemez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pacorro Aguilar in the 35th minute of play forced KяαdivÄch3 FC's goalkeeper Genaro Asur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Virgilio Lawrence managed to get in a good position for a shot. KяαdivÄch3 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgilio Lawrence was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edwin van der Sar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Pacorro Aguilar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genaro Asur was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Genaro Asur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pacorro Aguilar's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pacorro Aguilar made a kick off. With a little luck, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Edwin van der Sar got control of the ball when Lino Bazil tried to sneak it across the goal line. KяαdivÄch3 FC made a substitution. Fernando Arenas replaced Virgilio Lawrence. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ made a substitution. Santos Sanz replaced Refugio Colsa. KяαdivÄch3 FC's Ariel Osorio was substituted for Andy Top. Lino Bazil took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edwin van der Sar. Edwin van der Sar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Genaro Asur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pero Falla in the 73rd minute of the match. Fernando Arenas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edwin van der Sar having to make a save. In the 76th minute Fernando Arenas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edwin van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Cubero, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Genaro Asur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pero Falla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched KяαdivÄch3 FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
