The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rene Aires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Mannie having to interfere. In the 13th minute Rene Aires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Mannie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Roberto Mouzo in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ripa FC's Magnus Löfdahl. Okanalp Öksal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gu Chang Peng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Gu Chang Peng took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Okanalp Öksal to make any attempt to save it. 33 minutes into the match, Rene Aires notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie. Aldo Mannie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aldo Mannie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hıdır Namal in the 37th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gu Chang Peng got free with Okanalp Öksal in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Loco De Remate's goalkeeper Okanalp Öksal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Ripa FC's Placido Pero was substituted for Romain Declerck. Baškim Sumulikovski kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Hıdır Namal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rene Aires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aldo Mannie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Aires, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Loco De Remate's zone, Gu Chang Peng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Okanalp Öksal came out of the goal and Gu Chang Peng tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Loco De Remate made a substitution. Feliciano Iratxo replaced Baškim Sumulikovski. When Loco De Remate's Rene Aires in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ripa FC's goalie prevented a goal. Okanalp Öksal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Bochini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Ricardo Bochini notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Loco De Remate's Okanalp Öksal. Okanalp Öksal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Loco De Remate's Clodoveo Christobal was substituted for Rene Aires. The supporters of Loco De Remate booed when Ripa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franz Grassme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clodoveo Christobal came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aldo Mannie could save by the left post. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Loco De Remate's goalkeeper Okanalp Öksal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner ended in Placido Pero almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Loco De Remate's Okanalp Öksal did a great save. Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Ripa FC from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ripa FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Loco De Remate had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
