Alfredo Joey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Carolo Rozarius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eustacio Misael was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfonso Gilabert kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfredo Joey. That made the score 1-1 in the 13 minute of play. The supporters of Palermo booed when Guns And Roses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alfonso Gilabert came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Guns And Roses fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Gilabert couldn't finish the play. Eustacio Misael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Rozarius in the 21st minute of the match. Palermo were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Guns And Roses's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carolo Rozarius took the corner. Guns And Roses's Eustacio Misael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Medina in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th minute Arnoldo Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Misael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Alfonso Gilabert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Joey was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Rozarius in the 34th minute of play forced Guns And Roses's goalkeeper Eustacio Misael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palermo's Carolo Rozarius got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Guns And Roses's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Medina came free, but Eustacio Misael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Guns And Roses defense, Santiago Mino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eustacio Misael. The Guns And Roses fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eustacio Misael should have stopped the shot. Guns And Roses's Ismael Otsoko was substituted for Anibal Rubio. Guns And Roses made a substitution. Jesús Salvador replaced Alfonso Gilabert.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jesús Salvador made a kick off. Eustacio Misael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santiago Mino went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Domingos Santana hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Palermo's Marcelino Chaime was substituted for Carolo Rozarius. The supporters of Palermo booed when Guns And Roses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesús Salvador in the 63rd minute of the match. Maximino Gonzalez took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eustacio Misael. Eustacio Misael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Guns And Roses's Eustacio Misael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Mino in the 69th minute of play. Jesús Salvador recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eustacio Misael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Mino in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Jesús Salvador made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Joey. Palermo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. Palermo's Jhonny Del Fierro was substituted for Arnoldo Medina. The supporters of Guns And Roses booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Gonzalez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Palermo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
