An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Nicholas in the 9th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Alejandro Nicholas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Eztebe was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aureliano Karlo in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregorio Lehior saved Tacheros de Buenos Aires from getting behind. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattin Solbeida in the 15th minute of play. Gregorio Lehior showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Karlo in the 17th minute of the match. If Aureliano Karlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gregorio Lehior took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Karlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Aureliano Karlo came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the AFC FUSION fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliano Karlo couldn't finish the play. Vilius Gudavičius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Roberto Eztebe made a huge save. Vilius Gudavičius took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Eztebe. Roberto Eztebe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tacheros de Buenos Aires's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dawid Beckham was slow to take the kick. During this time AFC FUSION's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Dawid Beckham almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Gregorio Lehior did a great save. 33 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's Aureliano Karlo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gregorio Lehior narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 34 played minutes Tacheros de Buenos Aires got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Guilabertus. In the 39th minute Mattin Solbeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aureliano Karlo might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gregorio Lehior. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. AFC FUSION's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Karlo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roberto Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Blanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Aureliano Karlo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Gregorio Lehior made a huge save. Aureliano Karlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aureliano Karlo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gregorio Lehior firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Gregorio Lehior got control of the ball when Aureliano Karlo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gregorio Lehior came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC FUSION's Aureliano Karlo. But to his dismay, Aureliano Karlo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. AFC FUSION made a substitution. Mari Balotelli replaced Aureliano Karlo. AFC FUSION's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Claes Anundsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Claes Anundsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe did a great save. After a rather tough play, Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Adolfo Blanco got a free kick in the 95th minute. Roberto Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattin Solbeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tacheros de Buenos Aires's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Claes Anundsson in the 100th minute.
