Isidro Larra made in the 4th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Blumenau Esporte Clube's Xandinho Sharkin. If Martin Jax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luiz Fábio Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Jax in the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, GERLIROJO Ψ's Martin Jax nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Fábio Leite made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Luiz Fábio Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Jax in the 14th minute of play. Luiz Fábio Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Jax, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Giovani Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Jax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fábio Leite having to interfere. Martin Jax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luiz Fábio Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Jax in the 18th minute of the match. If Bin Shevchenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd match minute, Blumenau Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xandinho Sharkin to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Fábio Leite didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Jax went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Martin Jax's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Fábio Leite was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After 38 played minutes Blumenau Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by José Augusto Couto. Luiz Fábio Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Jax in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Martin Jax left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GERLIROJO Ψ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The throw-in from Nildo Dantas in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by GERLIROJO Ψ's Isidro Larra. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Martin Jax recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute 姚坤森 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Jax in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Fábio Leite saved Blumenau Esporte Clube from getting behind. In the 60th minute Adriano Vilanova shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lucas-Ignacio Lugano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GERLIROJO Ψ's Eleuterio Benvido was substituted for Furtado Ozaolaza. GERLIROJO Ψ's Aquilino Ihintza was substituted for 姚坤森. The supporters of Blumenau Esporte Clube booed when GERLIROJO Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Ferrer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Fábio Leite didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 71st minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. A collision led to Blumenau Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Bin Shevchenko hit a great ball. Epifanio Ibañez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Fábio Leite read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Blumenau Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Ibañez came free, but Luiz Fábio Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bin Shevchenko hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 93 played minutes Blumenau Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by José Augusto Couto. The Blumenau Esporte Clube supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching GERLIROJO Ψ's performance. The match ended with a win for GERLIROJO Ψ.
