The supporters of AFC FUSION booed when Despidida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Elequemedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toro Martínez in the 13th minute of play. Aureliano Karlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fernando Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Ancho Branca made in the 16th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Arturo Arano. 18 minutes into the game, Germano Bettencourt threw the ball into play from the sideline. Roberto Eztebe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Eztebe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Toro Martínez kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Despidida AFC's Szymon Pyrzyce got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd match minute, Despidida AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Elequemedo to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the game, AFC FUSION's Aureliano Karlo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernando Selatse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
