Marcelo Cavenaghi took the corner. 15 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vilius Gudavičius came free, but Zhang Hao Qing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Tacheros de Buenos Aires's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Cifuentes came free, but Gregorio Lehior reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Cifuentes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gregorio Lehior having to make a save. Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Gregorio Lehior played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Cifuentes in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszek Scigan came free, but Zhang Hao Qing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregorio Lehior showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Cifuentes, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Flavio Cifuentes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gregorio Lehior. Tacheros de Buenos Aires's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flavio Cifuentes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 33 minutes into the match, Flavio Cifuentes notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Gregorio Lehior. Gregorio Lehior was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gregorio Lehior took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Cifuentes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Cifuentes might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gregorio Lehior. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flavio Cifuentes ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Cifuentes in the 39th minute of play forced Tacheros de Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Gregorio Lehior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taltum FC's Zhang Hao Qing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattin Solbeida in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mattin Solbeida to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tacheros de Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Gregorio Lehior, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tacheros de Buenos Aires's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcelo Cavenaghi was slow to take the kick. During this time Taltum FC's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Cavenaghi in the 56th minute of play forced Tacheros de Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Gregorio Lehior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Tacheros de Buenos Aires getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Adolfo Blanco hit a great ball. Flavio Cifuentes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 59th minute Flavio Cifuentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Lehior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taltum FC made a substitution. Obregón Pardemanos replaced Flavio Cifuentes. 66 minutes in the game Adolfo Blanco did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Vilius Gudavičius. Zhang Hao Qing made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Faustão Melo sent off a good shot on target. If Obregón Pardemanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 71 minutes into the match, Tacheros de Buenos Aires's goal looked a bit too open when Obregón Pardemanos came free, but Gregorio Lehior reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Obregón Pardemanos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gregorio Lehior having to make a save. Taltum FC's Zhang Hao Qing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Taltum FC from getting a goal against them. Jan-Ove Tunander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zhang Hao Qing read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Gregorio Lehior took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roldan Castellanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Espinosa Marco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tacheros de Buenos Aires players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Taltum FC.
