An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeff Damen in the 15th minute of play forced Blumenau Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blumenau Esporte Clube were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Asesinos Por Naturaleza's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nildo Dantas took the corner. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bin Shevchenko made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Asesinos Por Naturaleza's zone, Edvaldo de Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Lohitzun came out of the goal and Edvaldo de Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeff Damen in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Fábio Leite saved Blumenau Esporte Clube from getting behind. Asesinos Por Naturaleza's Cai Shi Sheng was substituted for Esteve Nerio. Antonio Cortez made in the 71st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Blumenau Esporte Clube's Lucas-Ignacio Lugano. The Asesinos Por Naturaleza fans cheered their team off the field, for while Blumenau Esporte Clube had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
