After 5 played minutes Ali Haydar Tolgunay rounded C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's goalkeeper Serafin Bernal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gregorio Lehior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Negro in the 13th minute of play. If Wilfredo Nikola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureliano Negro might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gregorio Lehior. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aureliano Negro ran back to his position shaking his head. 24 minutes into the match, C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Vilius Gudavičius came free, but Serafin Bernal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aureliano Negro struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Gregorio Lehior didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo. 28 minutes into the match, Tacheros de Buenos Aires's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Nikola came free, but Gregorio Lehior reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aureliano Negro in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregorio Lehior prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aureliano Negro in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregorio Lehior saved Tacheros de Buenos Aires from getting behind. Aureliano Negro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wilfredo Nikola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gregorio Lehior tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aureliano Negro in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregorio Lehior saved Tacheros de Buenos Aires from getting behind. Gregorio Lehior took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Negro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Aureliano Negro made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Tacheros de Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Gregorio Lehior had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aureliano Negro. In the last second Gregorio Lehior throw himself and got hold of the ball when Wilfredo Nikola in the 53rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 61 minutes into the match, C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszek Scigan came free, but Serafin Bernal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureliano Negro got free with Gregorio Lehior in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Dawid Serwacki was substituted for Luciano Segio. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Godfredo Nuñez was substituted for Aureliano Negro. Gregorio Lehior made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Godfredo Nuñez sent off a good shot on target. Godfredo Nuñez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregorio Lehior read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tacheros de Buenos Aires's zone, Godfredo Nuñez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregorio Lehior came out of the goal and Godfredo Nuñez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Serafin Bernal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattin Solbeida in the 83rd minute of play. Gregorio Lehior showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfredo Nuñez in the 88th minute of the match. Godfredo Nuñez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godfredo Nuñez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Gregorio Lehior made a huge save. Dawid Serwacki fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 96th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
