Cláudio Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casper Keato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casper Keato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Cláudio Taffarel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 23 minutes on the clock, Herman Heberle commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 23 minutes into the game, one of Australian Youth Academy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 25 minutes, !!KARAGÜLLE İMPARATORLUĞU's Ferid Sahadettin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rick Thomas. Berker Rıza Afşaroğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Cláudio Taffarel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dakota Gaffigan went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 32 minutes, Dwight Rennie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yenal Tuğaltan got free with Rick Thomas in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Berker Rıza Afşaroğlu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rick Thomas came out and tried to block the shot, but Berker Rıza Afşaroğlu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 35th minute. A collision led to !!KARAGÜLLE İMPARATORLUĞU getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Berkan İnanöz hit a great ball. Australian Youth Academy's Rick Thomas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Australian Youth Academy from getting a goal against them. Rick Thomas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cevdet Sezgen in the 42nd minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Casper Keato during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Australian Youth Academy. If Yenal Tuğaltan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rick Thomas came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by !!KARAGÜLLE İMPARATORLUĞU's Ferid Sahadettin. But to his dismay, Ferid Sahadettin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. A collision led to !!KARAGÜLLE İMPARATORLUĞU getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Cevdet Sezgen hit a great ball. Rick Thomas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferid Sahadettin, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The audience was convinced that Berker Rıza Afşaroğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rick Thomas was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Dakota Gaffigan kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match.
