In the 83rd minute Lorenzo Viergol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Grocholski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 85 minutes, Aaron Mazuste managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Academia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Mazuste was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Zumar Gascon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, Barcelona de América's Flavio Perez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iwan Grocholski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. La Academia's Aaron Mazuste got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francisco Alberto Zañartu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 97th minute, Dani Ganado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
