After a rather tough play, Black Cloud FC's Sven-Ove Björkqvist got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Anıl Cenk Tanacan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamin Tino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Indiana Jones to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Club El Progreso's Adolfo Fidensio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Adolfo Fidensio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club El Progreso protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Adolfo Fidensio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 52 played minutes Club El Progreso got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Fidensio. After a defensive mix-up in Club El Progreso's zone, Sven-Ove Björkqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After 67 played minutes Stefan Motyl rounded Club El Progreso's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Benjamin Tino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Motyl, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Stefan Motyl notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino. Benjamin Tino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
