The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Cachiyuyo EAS made a substitution. Dito Sena replaced Edgard Polentzi. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabricio Rencio made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Cachiyuyo EAS's Francisco Raymond threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fabricio Rencio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Racing Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
