Defensores del Ángel Gris's supporters rose to their feet, but Andres Reynardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarrod Leary breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes in the game Jammy Krabbe did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Andres Reynardo. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Defensores del Ángel Gris's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Miami Futbol Club the free kick. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Nicolás DAndrea to make any attempt to save it. Jarrod Leary showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Estebano in the 77th minute of the match. Chance Adams in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nicolás DAndrea, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nicolás DAndrea was a little too slow when Chance Adams got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-4. After a rather tough play, Defensores del Ángel Gris's Gaspar Chaime got a free kick in the 98th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Racing Miami Futbol Club had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
