In the 10th match minute, Club El Progreso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Portela to maneuver through the defense. Racing Club's Marco Nisio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Club El Progreso. The audience thought a goal was coming when Indiana Jones got free with Francisco Raymond in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute, Stephan Testaferrata Bonici got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 38 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Anísio Cosme. Anacleto Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Benjamin Tino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Ubarna in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Indiana Jones made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Indiana Jones in the 52nd minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Francisco Raymond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's Indiana Jones sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisco Raymond narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Dalgren in the 58th minute of play. Antonio Ubarna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benjamin Tino having to make a save. Antonio Ubarna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Benjamin Tino made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Sven-Edvin Dalgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Francisco Raymond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Indiana Jones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Ubarna did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Benjamin Tino 69 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Indiana Jones in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Raymond saved Racing Club from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Adolfo Fidensio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 minutes, 刘文峰 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing Club and the Club El Progreso players grew even worse after the yellow card. 刘文峰 kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Racing Club defense, Indiana Jones kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francisco Raymond. The Racing Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francisco Raymond should have stopped the shot. Club El Progreso's Indiana Jones got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bonifacio Txindoki kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Benjamin Tino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Nisio in the 95th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
