CAI NEUQUEN's Nicanor Honesto got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicanor Honesto in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemente Benvido saved Canalla Fuego from getting behind. Nicanor Honesto might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clemente Benvido. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicanor Honesto ran back to his position shaking his head. Clemente Benvido made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Nicanor Honesto sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute of the match, Nicanor Honesto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Clemente Benvido was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. CAI NEUQUEN's Ermegildo Horado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Villanueva in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Aristides Villanueva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ermegildo Horado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Nicanor Honesto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Clemente Benvido made a huge save. After 28 minutes Canalla Fuego's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Raul Heriberto who took care of the corner kick. In the 30th minute of the match, Raul Heriberto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Clemente Benvido saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 30 minutes into the match, Raul Heriberto notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Canalla Fuego's Clemente Benvido. Isaac Gustafsson replaced Romeo Elija. The supporters of CAI NEUQUEN booed when Canalla Fuego was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position.
