The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, VN Ultra Spartak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Casado to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano Lewandowski in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Krasimir Mishovski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VN Ultra Spartak the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Nazario in the 14th minute of play forced VN Ultra Spartak's goalkeeper Albérico Bernardes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Cristiano Lewandowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Krasimir Mishovski was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 21st minute Facundo Nazario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albérico Bernardes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Krasimir Mishovski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albérico Bernardes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Nazario, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristiano Lewandowski to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Cristiano Lewandowski put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Krasimir Mishovski. When Cristiano Lewandowski came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the VN Ultra Spartak fans jumped to their feet. Krasimir Mishovski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristiano Lewandowski's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lokomotiv Plovdiv's zone, Cristiano Lewandowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krasimir Mishovski came out of the goal and Cristiano Lewandowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristiano Lewandowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Krasimir Mishovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. VN Ultra Spartak fully deserved thier win.
