With an all-out effort, Blue avalanche's Thomas Sørensen threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stanislav Búlgarov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Blue avalanche's Slavey Dochevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eero Grönholm in the 32nd minute of play. With a little luck, FC Grivata's Thomas Sørensen got control of the ball when Seymour Coffman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thomas Sørensen was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Seymour Coffman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Seymour Coffman really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. FC Grivata's Thomas Sørensen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delyan Partinov in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stanislav Búlgarov made a kick off. Stanislav Búlgarov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tzvetoslav Serdev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Slavey Dochevski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Blue avalanche booed when FC Grivata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flóki Konráðsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Sørensen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes into the match, FC Grivata's goal looked a bit too open when Seymour Coffman came free, but Thomas Sørensen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Grivata booed when Blue avalanche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omurtag Púrvulov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 played minutes Blue avalanche got a freekick which was hit by Omurtag Púrvulov.
