Dietbald Ströbele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radowit Ogrodowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radowit Ogrodowicz in the 18th minute of play forced Manchester United FC's goalkeeper Dietbald Ströbele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eero Grönholms short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Dietbald Ströbele to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Manchester United FC's Dietbald Ströbele got control of the ball when Eero Grönholm tried to sneak it across the goal line.
