The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Benjamin Lara kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dráuzio Abraão. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Bahattin Çeliker made in the 7th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by JURIDIQUES F.C's Thomás Vianna. Dráuzio Abraão made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Benjamin Lara sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Lara got free with Dráuzio Abraão in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute, Joinville Esporte Clube's Benjamin Lara ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dráuzio Abraão. In the 37th match minute, JURIDIQUES F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lionel Pelé to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júnior Zanette in the 38th minute of play forced JURIDIQUES F.C's goalkeeper Dráuzio Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind JURIDIQUES F.C's goalkeeper Dráuzio Abraão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 42 minutes, Benjamin Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joinville Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amauri Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráuzio Abraão having to interfere. A collision led to Joinville Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Allan Simão hit a great ball.

There was no doubt that Joinville Esporte Clube were the better team. Joinville Esporte Clube's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
