After the first half Clube Sporting Navuo were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cleiton Ribeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Toninho Guerreiro sped through Blumenau Esporte Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Giovani Tinoco.
