Joinville City - FSCMZ's Geovanildo Luis got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damian Natanael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geovanildo Luis went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Geovanildo Luis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joinville City - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovanildo Luis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Natanael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustavo Scarpa kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Geovanildo Luis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Damian Natanael made a huge save. In the 23rd minute of the match Joinville City - FSCMZ got a corner. São Miguel do Oeste.SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ronaldinho Gaucho ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mbaka N'Diaye was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The Joinville City - FSCMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while São Miguel do Oeste.SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
