With a little luck, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Charles Sarmento got control of the ball when Benson Beverley tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mestre GG's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wiktor Dabrowski in the 14th minute. Mestre GG were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wiktor Dabrowski took the corner. Charles Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiktor Dabrowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Alcântara made the kick off in the second half. Wiktor Dabrowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charles Sarmento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
